COVID-19 Infection Control Program

Thank you for showing interest in our online COVID-19 Infection Control Program.

This one-day course provides an overview of key areas in infection prevention and control, where there have been significant changes in the past year and provides up to date information.

What is our COVID-19 Infection Control Program?

This Program contains the latest evidence-based research and government guidelines that is revised regularly to ensure currency is maintained.

Those who successfully complete the training and assessments will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for this Nationally accredited skillset.

Training delivery and assessment includes:

  • One full day of training via Zoom (from 9:00am to 5:00pm)
  • A written assessment completed on the day
  • A practical workplace activity

Note: Students must have access to a computer and the internet to complete this Program

Who is the training for?

The course is free of charge for any Victorian who has any type of contact with clients or customers in a paid or volunteer role.

This training is designed for non-clinical staff (although clinical staff are welcome to attend) such as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander communities, HACC, allied health, office and cleaning staff. We can also provide group training on request free of charge.
