A state wide project, aimed at improving the birthing experiences and birthing outcomes experienced by Koori women in Victoria.
Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit
Supporting VACCHO member organisations to provide up-to-date sexual and reproductive health care (including STIs and BBVs) through the provision of advocacy, education support and health promotion services.

A set of programs administered through the Office for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health in the Department of Health and Ageing.
Improving Care for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Patients – ICAP
ICAP builds on the work done by KHLOs across Victoria to improve the access of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria to mainstream health services.
Indigenous Palliative Care
Aims for Aboriginal people to develop and increase the awareness and access to palliative care services and to develop a relationship between palliative care providers and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health organisations across Victoria.
Nutrition & Physical Activity Unit
Building the capacity of Aboriginal workers, organisations and
communities to promote healthy eating and physical activity and reduce the burden of preventable chronic diseases.
Mental Health
The Mental Health Project Officer oversees the Koori Mental Health Liaison Officers. There are 11 positions across regional Victoria with most KMHLOs employed within the local Area Mental Health Services in the regional areas.
