7 Acknowlegements

7.1 Have you negotiated with the community who will be acknowledged in the reporting of the results, and how?

• Aboriginal co-investigators, research officers, research assistants, project officers or other contributors to the project should be appropriately acknowledged for their contribution to the project, as co-authors wherever possible and appropriate.
• If a project agreement has been signed, individual or organisational partners should be acknowledged as equal project partners in reports, publications and presentations of findings.
• Data should only be published with the approval and due acknowledgement of other partners and community members.
