May 1, 2026

After more than four years of service, Dallas Widdicombe has concluded his tenure as a Director of the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) Board.

VACCHO CEO Dr Jill Gallagher AO thanks Dallas for his lasting contribution to VACCHO and its Members over the past four and half years.

“Dallas has been a passionate advocate for the health and wellbeing of our Community and has brought a wealth of experience and dedication to the role.”

Alongside managing his role as CEO for Bendigo & District Aboriginal Co-operative (BDAC) and being on the Board of NACCHO, Dallas brought excellent governance expertise grounded in Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing.

During his tenure on the Board, Dallas served as both Treasurer and Deputy Chair as well as a member of several Board sub-committees.

VACCHO also recognises Dallas’ immense contribution to BDAC, to Mallee District Aboriginal Services as interim CEO and the ACCO sector more broadly, with his leadership and dedication.

VACCHO and its Board Members wish Dallas the very best in his future endeavours.
