BreastScreen Victoria with BDAC
March 6 - March 10Free
Get your breasts checked with Bendigo & District Aboriginal Co Operative and BreastScreen Victoria
Details: Monday 6 to Friday 10 March, 2023
Get your breasts checked and protect yourself against breast cancer. Put your health first by getting a free breast screen every two years from age 50. Regular breast screens are the best way to find breast cancer early when treatment is most likely to be successful.
The BreastScreen mobile screening van will be visiting Bendigo & District Aboriginal Co Operative on Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March.
Your free breast screen will be done in a culturally safe environment with a female radiographer. It will only take 10 minutes.
As part of the Beautiful Shawl Project, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women will receive a FREE beautiful shawl designed by talented Community artists to use during the screening that they can keep afterwards.
“Women’s Journey Together” by Wadawurrung and Gunditjmara artist Trina Dalton-Oogjes for Bendigo
