The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO) hopes a new Aged Care Diversity Framework launched today will help overcome the barriers faced by Aboriginal people who are receiving, or are seeking, aged care services.

The Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO), the peak body representing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal people in Victoria, welcomed the release of the Legislated Review of Aged Care 2017 report and urges the Government to adopt recommendations which promote accessibility and equity in the aged care system.
The review, led by David Tune AO PSM, was conducted to monitor progress of reforms legislated to the aged care system in 2012.
