VACCHO is disappointed by the Turnbull Government’s slashing of $2.1 billion from the health system, including cutting Medicare bulk billing incentives for diagnostic and pathology services, announced in the Mid-Year Economic Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO).

VACCHO are pleased to announce that Daphne Yarram, Karen Heap and John Mitchell were elected by the VACCHO Membership to represent them and contribute to the strong leadership of their peak body for Aboriginal health. Ms Daphne Yarram was re-elected following on the previous two years of service as a Board member. Ms Heap and Mr Mitchell join existing Board members Marcus Clarke, Andrew Gardiner, Hilary Saunders and Suzie Squires to further VACCHO’s purpose and long term sustainability.
