The implementation of a healthy catering or nutrition policy can help organisations to champion their commitment to health and wellbeing by creating a supportive environment for healthy eating for their staff, visitors and other community members.  VACCHO is committed to supporting its member organisations in the development of nutrition policies and other healthy eating initiatives.   Localised resources that use the Traffic Light Guide to Healthy Eating are available to assist the implementation of these nutrition policies. 

VACCHO can link in Victorian Aboriginal early childhood services with the Healthy Eating Advisory Service for menu assessments and the Achievement Program for guidelines, resources and ongoing support to meet statewide benchmarks in health promotion (including the development and implementation of healthy eating, oral health and physical activity policies).
