The role of VACCHO is to build the capacity of our Membership and to advocate for issues on their behalf.
We do this by strengthening our support networks, increasing workforce development opportunities for our Members and through leadership on key health areas. Advocacy is carried out with a range of private, community and government agencies, at state and national levels, on all issues related to Aboriginal health
This page provides tools and resources to support VACCHO’s 32 Member organisations located throughout Victoria.

Cancer Screening Initiatives Grant
Did you know that our Mob are 2.5 times more likely to die from cancer than other Victorians?
Help us close that gap by raising awareness about cancer screening and encouraging our people to get checked!
VACCHO is funding grants between $5,000 – $15,000 for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCO) in Victoria to support a broad range of cancer screening initiatives that will be designed by ACCO’s for their local Community.
